Results Essay Competition 2009

It’s a great pleasure to announce that this year our college RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, a unit of an autonomous society of the department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal, has organized an Essay Competition among higher secondary level students all over West Bengal. The topics of the easy were –“Technical Aspects of Mobile Phones –uses and abuses” and “Your Dream Academic System”.

We are indeed very glad to mention that we have received warm response from the students throughout the state. After careful examination of the essays sent by the contestants a panel has been prepared as per merit Rs. 2,000/- is for 1^st prize; Rs. 1,500/- for 2^nd prize, Rs. 1,000/- for 3^rd prize & Rs. 500/- for both 4^th and 5^th position and the contestants from 6^th to 10^th position were given consolation prizes along with the certificate. Our honorable Chairman Prof. Sajal Dasgupta, Director of Technical Education, Govt. of West Bengal, Prof. Atal Choudhury from J.U., Dr. Jaya Deb Roy, Principal RCCIIT and Mr. R. N. Lahiri, Principal Consultant, TCS gave away the prizes to the successful participants.
