Anti Ragging
N o t i c e
As per guideline of AICTE, referring the
direction, of Hon’ble Supreme Court in W.P. © No.656 of 1986 dated 4th
may, 2001, and also as per the UGC regulation on ‘Curbing the
Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions,2009’ (ref. no. F
1-16/2007(CPP-II) and dated April, 2009), ‘ragging’ both inside and
outside the campus is strictly prohibited.

If any student(s)
is(are) found involved in such activity or if any complain in this
regard is received against a student / group of students, the
student(s) concerned will be summarily suspended and after
investigation may be expelled from the college.

If any passed out
student(s) is(are) found involved in such activity or any complain
is received in this regard against a passed out student / group of
passed out students, then such complain may be forwarded to the
employer of the concerned student(s).

If any student /
group of students is(are) found in the 1st year class
room without permission from the Head of the Dept. then this may
also be taken as a serious offence and above punishment is also
implied for this case.
Besides the above said any other activity
which implies ragging is also punishable.
