RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT), Kolkata invites Expression of Interest from reputed networking vendors  for designing/planning, installation and commissioning of  Campus Wide Network in its new upcoming building and connectivity with the existing network in the old building .

The Expression of Interest is to be addressed to The Finance Officer, RCC Institute of Information Technology and  submitted  at the office of The Finance Officer on or before 12th July 2010 by 3:00pm. The Letter should  be superscripted “EOI for CWN ”. Letters received after the scheduled date will not be considered. RCCIIT will not be responsible for any postal delays in receiving the EOIs. EOIs will be valid for six months. 

Mere submission of EOI cannot be construed as a condition for pre-qualification. RCCIIT reserves the right, without any obligation or liabilities, to accept or reject any application or to annul the process at any time, without assigning any reason thereof.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST:

Prospective bidders are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) of not more than ten pages that also includes the following information:

Name of the Bidding company with Address

Status of the company (Central or state PSU, or private Limited company)

Year of Establishment:

Profile of company (along with company Brochures) (In case of Joint bid profileof all bidding parties) would be required demonstrating the capabilitiesnecessary for this project & name, designation of contact person i.e. Nodalofficer for said project with phone. no., e.mail, fax, personal address etc.

Proof of Previous Experience in designing & implementing the similar type of networks.

Clientele List with contact person’s name and Telephone/Mobile Nos. where similar projects were executed.

Satisfactory Performance certificate regarding networking projects implemented by them from clients.

Audited Annual Statements/Income Tax Returns of the last three Years, PAN,Service Tax, VAT account Nos.

Profiles of the Executives & Technical team going to be part of this Project, if awarded to your company

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Must have at least 5 years experience in the field of similar Network installation, commissioning and maintenance.

The bidder should be a registered firm in India, having C.S.T /VAT/PAN/TIN etc  

Minimum Turn over should be 3 crores in the last 3(Three) consecutive years 

Balance sheet to be attached for the last three years(2007-08,2008-09, 2009-10)). 

Must have executed minimum 5 networking projects costing not less than Rs.20 Lacs in large Organizations with at least two project in educational institutions having a large campus with Fiber Optic Network Backbone & end user wireless connectivity. 

The bidder should be a Premier partner of the OEM of the equipment to be used for the proposed project. The bidder should submit a certificate from the OEM in this respect of the Equipment as a proof of its partnership. 

The bidder should have a centralized operational help desk facility in or around Kolkata for call logging, assigning/alloction of call docket, automated tracking and escalation etc. 

The bidder should submit a technical capability document describing the relevant facilities and resources available with them. A list of technicallyqualified and certified engineers for designing, installation and maintenance of the network components proposed to be quoted. 

The bidder should be certified for network integration (for both wired and wireless) Copy certification should be enclosed. 

The bidder should have demonstrated experience in designing, building,managing, and running a similar (intended by RCCIIT) type of network continuously for the last five years.(Kindly attach proofs wherever required)

Wireless connectivity is required in all teacher room and seminar room conference room etc

 

The existing network of the present campus need to be integrated with the new campus with fiber optic connectivity
